However, after the 44th Constitution Amendment in 1978, the right to property ceased to be a fundamental right but it continued to be a constitutional right. Even so, Article 300 A of the Constitution of India provides that: ''No person shall be deproved of his property save by authority of law . 

What are private rights in India ? 

The bill says, ''every individual shall have a right to his privacy - confidentiality of  communication made to, or, by him - including his personal correspondence, telephone conversations, telegraph messages, postal, electronic mail and other modes of communication; of his private or his family life . 

Is right to property a legal right in India ?

HC reiterates: Right Property is a Contitutional Right, Legal Right, and right (Read Judgement). Article 19(1)(f) guranted to the Indian citizen a right to acquire, hold and dispose of property. Article 31 provided that ''no person shall be deprived of his property save by authority of law''.
