The three types of property ownership are individual ownership, joint ownership and ownership by way of nomination. 


What are the main types of property ownership ?

The different types of real estate title are joint tenancy, tenancy in common, tenants by entirety, sole ownership, and community. Other, less common types of  property ownership are corporate ownership, partnership ownership, and trust ownership.

Karnataka land holding certificate is a proof of ownership of land. 

Landholding certificate is the prima facie evidence of the truth of the matters contained in the land records. The document includes a description of the property with details of boundaries, name and address of the owner and the covenants affecting it.
